Um tapumes de obra é o principal local de divulgação de um lançamento imobiliário. Nossa tarefa era projetar um tapume de mais de 30 metros de extensão para promover o edifício Giardino, localizado em um bairro essencialmente residencial, cercado por casas antigas e moradores que adoram caminhar pelas ruas tranquilas do entorno. Um dos pontos altos do projeto arquitetônico do Giardino são as varandas repletas de jardins - que inspiraram o nome do edifício.
Por outro lado, tapumes não são muito bem recebidos pelas pessoas, especialmente por quem mora na região. Além de deixar a calçada mais estreita, um canteiro de obras incomoda os vizinhos com barulho constante e muita sujeira. Como a construção pode levar vários anos, os moradores do entorno têm que conviver com essas estruturas - e transtornos - por muito tempo.
Então, nos perguntamos: e se essa estrutura de fechamento do canteiro fosse mais do que apenas um 'outdoor' de divulgação do atributos do prédio, fazendo com que o prédio a ser construído fosse um bom vizinho, antes mesmo de existir?
A construction site siding is the main place of advertising a real estate product. Our task was to design a siding of over 30 meters to promote the building Giardino, located in a neighborhood essentially residential, surrounded by old houses and a population that loves to walk on its tranquil streets. One of the highlights of the architectural design of the building are its balconies filled with vegetation – which inspired for the name of the building.
On the other hand, sidings are not very welcomed by people, specially by those who live near it. Apart from the fact that they leave the sidewalk narrower, a construction site bother its neighbors with constant noise and dirt. As the construction may take several years to complete, the population around it have to live with these stresses for a long period of time.
Therefore, we asked: what if this closing structure of the construction site could be more than just and outdoor to highlight the attributes of the building, making the building a good neighbor even before it exists?
Nem todo mundo pode ter uma obra de arte dentro de sua casa. Por outro lado, a cidade está cheia de espaços pouco convidativos para a população - como é o caso de um canteiro de obras. A construtora do Giardino preocupa-se com o impacto das suas obras na paisagem urbana.
Então que tal no lugar de um tapume comum, presentear a cidade com mais beleza, arte e cultura, criando impacto positivo no entorno antes mesmo de a sua obra existir no local? Essa é a proposta da Galleria Giardino.
Uma galeria de arte urbana com 4 murais emoldurados e iluminados, cada um deles com potencial instagramável e interativo.
Para abrir a Galleria, convidamos uma artista local - Lari Namaste - para criar os murais partir da temática “jardim”. A ideia é que ao longo dos 4 anos de construção do Giardino, o espaço possa ser ocupado por outros artistas e diferentes temáticas.
Not everybody can have an art work inside its house. On the other hand, the city is filled with spaces that are little inviting for the population – as is the case of a construction site. The construction company is worried with the impact of its buildings on the urban landscape.
So what if instead of the a common siding, we presented the city with more beauty, art and culture, creating a positive impact on the surrounding even before its construction starts at the site? That is the proposal of Galleria Giardino, an art gallery with 4 walls, each of them with potential for Instagram and interaction.
To open the gallery, we invited a local artist – Lari Namaste – to create the walls from the theme “garden”. The ideia is that throughout the 4 years of construction of Giardino, the space can be occupied be other artists and different themes.
As ilustrações foram esboçadas à mão pela artista, para que em seguida serem pintados diretamente sobre os muros do tapume de obras. Até a abertura da Galleria, os murais ficaram fechados, para gerar expectativa. No dia da inauguração, captamos fotos dos visitantes com uma câmera Instax e distribuímos como lembrança do evento, com uma TAG personalizada na foto.
Mesmo durante o processo de pintura os vizinhos já começaram a elogiar a iniciativa, que também foi amplamente noticiada pela mídia local.
All illustrations were hand drawn by the artist, so that they could be painted directly on the walls of the construction site siding. Until the opening of the Galleria, the walls were closed to generate expectation. On the day of the inauguration, we took photos of the visitors with a instax camera and distributed the photos as a souvenir of the event, with a personalized tag on the photo.
Even durint the painting process neighbors already started to praise the initiative, that was also broadly published on the local media.
